When Jay is not sharpening saws and maintaining equipment, he dapples in chainsaw carving, doing snow removal in winter, and spending time with his partner Steph and their three rescue German Shepherds in Searsburg.

Jay crafted his skills as an all-around tree service expert through many years of hard work. He also spent years climbing, wielding axes and chainsaws competitively in lumberjack competitions across the region.
